The ceiling cassette heat pump can distribute air in up to four directions at once.
Our advisors can show installation options while preserving the integrity of your ceiling and attic structure. It’s ideal for covering large areas by distributing air in all directions while avoiding the installation of multiple units to achieve the same result.
How does a ceiling cassette heat pump work?
Installed in the ceiling, this air conditioning and heating unit draws air from the room’s highest point, recycling the warmest air to either cool or heat it up again. This ensures better temperature control during cooling and allows recycling of heat accumulated near the ceiling over winter. This type of unit is ideal for treating open areas and can supply 1 to 3 vents in enclosed rooms.
What are the advantages of a ceiling cassette heat pump?
The ceiling cassette features a panel on each side, allowing air to be distributed in all directions. One outlet can be blocked if, for example, it’s facing a wall. Some models also allow the addition of a 6″ ventilation duct to directly supply another room. This unit uses a thermostat, making it more precise than systems controlled by a remote.
